Adrienne Blechman is an experienced and accomplished Audiologist, with over 20 years of experience in private and public practice across Victoria. She started her career with Australian Hearing in Bendigo, often travelling to remote communities and regional centres to provide much needed audiological services. After moving back to Melbourne, Adrienne and her husband Ryan, established Absolute Hearing, opening their first hearing clinic in 2003 in trendy Toorak Village, Victoria.

Absolute Hearing soon grew to be Victoria's largest independent hearing practice with 10 locations across Melbourne including Caulfield, Bentleigh, Albert Park, Hawthorn & Toorak. After building Absolute Hearing for 8 years, Adrienne and Ryan exited the business to focus on their growing family. Three kids later, and bit more grey hair, Adrienne is delighted to offer HEARING SAVERS, a unique concept in Australian - offering the latest technology from trusted global brands, absolute premium service but at the best prices in Australia.

Adrienne is passionate about Audiology and is past President of the Audiological Society of Australia (Vic), where she raised awareness and promoted audiological services to both hearing professionals and the wider community.

Adrienne completed her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) in 2024 at the A.T. Still University, Arizona USA. Adrienne is a qualified Speech Pathologist (La Trobe University) and holds both a Graduate Diploma in Audiological Science and a Masters of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne.

Adrienne is a full member of the Audiology Australia, and the Australian College of Audiology (ACAud), incorporating HAASA, and is accredited by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health (Hearing Services Program), Medicare, JobAccess, TAC, WorkSafe Victoria and NDIS.

Michael Barsoum

Michael Barsoum is an experienced Audiologist with a Masters of Clinical Audiology and Bachelor of Health Science from La Trobe University in Melbourne.

Prior to joining HEARING SAVERS, Michael worked for a large independent regional hearing practice in Warrnambool for 4 years, looking after the hearing needs of the local community.

His broad experience encompassed Paediatric Behavioural Testing, including VROA and Play Audiometry, Adult Diagnostic Audiology, including ENT and GP referrals and industrial workplace screenings, Adult Aural Rehabilitation for Hearing Services Program Clients, WorkSafe and Privately Funded clients, Tinnitus management and counselling, Cerumen (wax) management, custom earplugs for musicians, swimmers, paediatric ENT clients and clients at risk of noise induced hearing loss.

Michael enjoys playing tennis and is fluent in Arabic.

Charlotte Mahney

Charlotte Mahney is an experienced Audiologist working in a private hearing clinic for a number of years prior to joining HEARING SAVERS. Charlotte takes great pleasure improving the hearing of all clients, and is proficient across the range of hearing aid brands & models. Charlotte will help you navigate hearing aid funding options for Pension & Veteran card holders, along with NDIS participants, WorkSafe, TAC, and Home Care Package clients.

Charlotte was the recipient of the 2018 Audiology Australia Scholarship to accompany a multidisciplinary team from the Earbus Foundation to the Kimberley region, where Charlotte assessed the ear health of children and adults in remote Indigenous communities.

Charlotte holds a Masters of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Applied Science from Deakin University, majoring in Psychology.

Prior to joining HEARING SAVERS, Julie worked a at major hearing chain plus a small independent hearing clinic, looking after the hearing needs of a broad range of clients, from paediatric to senior citizens. Julie's experience encompassed diagnostic services, aural rehabilitation, tinnitus management, custom ear plugs and cerumen management.

Julie holds a Masters of Clinical Audiology and a Bachelor or Science, majoring in Physiology, both from the University of Melbourne.

Amanda O'Connell supports our operations to ensure the smooth running of our clinics and fantastic experience for our clients.

Prior to joining HEARING SAVERS, Amanda owned and operated Presence on Puckle in Moonee Ponds for 22 years. Amanda has also worked in a number of pharmacies, in metro and regional Victoria, responsible for customer service, store layout and inventory management.

Amanda volunteers at the local Moonee Valley Football Club, looking after player registrations, financial accounts and club functions and events.

Ryan Behr has a passion for small business in Australia and enjoys looking after the 'business' side at HEARING SAVERS to support Adrienne and team in each of their important roles. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the business, including finance, IT, marketing, recruiting and general operational support.

Ryan has worked in the Australian hearing sector since 2003, initially establishing and managing Absolute Hearing's 10 clinics, and 20 years experience as a Management Consultant, working with many of Australia's leading companies on important strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on growth, competitive and marketing strategy.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Systems and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
