Signia Amplify Conference Queenstown

It was a privilege to attend the Signia Amplify Conference held in the picturesque Queenstown, New Zealand on 21-24 March 2019.

Signia invests in select hearing partners across Australia and New Zealand to strengthen independent clinics and provides privileged access to the latest hearing technologies, such as the revolutionary Styletto Connect.

The guest speaker was Brian Taylor, Director of Clinical Audiology at Fuel Medical Group. Brian ran a comprehensive workshop on how independent hearing clinics can differentiate their practice and provide customised service in the age of digital disruption and consumer-driven healthcare.

The 2019 Amplify Conference was concluded in style with a relaxing cruise of Lake Wakatipu aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw.

About the TSS Earnslaw

The TSS Earnslaw is an integral part of Queenstown’s pioneering history and to this day a Queenstown icon. She was commissioned by New Zealand Railways to service the communities around Lake Wakatipu. Launched in the same year as the Titanic, the TSS Earnslaw’s maiden voyage was on 18 October 1912.

Known as The Lady of the Lake, she provided an essential link between the isolated farming communities along the lake and the outside world. At 48 metres long, she was the biggest boat on the lake and carried passengers, sheep, cattle, mail and supplies.
