In a world first, binaural directional technology is also available in instruments with a single microphone including CICs, by combining the outstanding performance of the microphones and e2e 3.0 wireless technology. Sitting deep within the canal, CICs utilise the natural pinna effect for directional hearing to the front, and e2e wireless 3.0 audio exchange technology to create a virtual four microphone network. High Definition Sound Resolution (HDSR) uses information from this virtual four microphone network to build improved directionality to the front. The result is enhanced speech intelligibility and sound quality, even in challenging listening situations.
