Engage in life like never before with Oticon Intent
Latest hearing aid that understands your listening intentions
The #1 challenge for people with hearing loss is communicating with loved ones in noisy and dynamic environments.
Traditional hearing aids provide a one-size-fits-all approach and do not factor in your listening intentions. This limits the information the brain receives which can make it difficult to engage in life.
Building on latest BrainHearing™ insights, Oticon continues to develop hearing aids that support the brain’s natural way of processing sound.
Oticon Intent gives you clarity, confidence and connectivity
Oticon Intent is the world’s first hearing aid capable of understanding your listening intentions, thanks to Oticon's latest 4D Sensor technology.

That way, you can feel confident and stay focused on the moments that matter to you.

Oticon Intent 1 vs Intent 2 vs Intent 3
Oticon Intent hearing aids come in four technology levels (1, 2, 3, and 4), with Intent 1 being the most advanced and Intent 4 the most basic. The main differences between the levels are in features, especially noise reduction and customisation options, with higher levels offering more sophisticated sound processing and features for challenging listening environments. Generally, most of our clients choose the highest level within their budget that meets their needs.
Oticon Intent 1 (Premium): This is the flagship model, offering the most advanced features and customisation options. It excels in noisy environments and provides robust Bluetooth connectivity. Key features include:
- Neural noise suppression, with up to 12 dB of noise reduction.
- 360-degree sound awareness provides a more natural listening experience
- Robust Bluetooth connectivity, for seamless streaming and connectivity
- More Sound Intelligence 3.0, which provides individualised help based on the situation and the listener's intention
- MoreSound Amplifier 3.0 for improved amplification for better sound quality
- Sirius platform, a cutting-edge chip designed for enhanced processing
Oticon Intent 2 (Advanced): This model offers a balance of performance and features, with advanced sound quality and Bluetooth connectivity. It's a good option if you need strong performance but don't require all the premium features of Intent 1.
Oticon Intent 3 (Standard): This model balances performance and value, offering core Intent technology with basic noise reduction and connectivity. It's suitable for those in quieter environments or who don't need the advanced features of the higher levels.
Key differences across Intent models
Noise reduction:
Intent 1 has the most robust noise reduction, with Intent 2 and 3 offering progressively less.
Customisation:
Higher levels offer more customisation options for our Audiologists to fine-tune the hearing aids to individual needs.
Features:
Higher levels include more advanced features like the 4D sensor technology and spatial balancing, which are not available in the lower levels.
If you need hearing aids for a variety of listening situations, especially in noise, the higher levels (1 and 2) offer more robust features and greater adaptability. For those in quieter environments, level 3 is a cost-effective option that still delivers high-quality sound.
